Soul is energy and energy changes form but never get destroyed, and being said Soul is a part of Divine spark, soul is pure and simple, soul is a spark which creates your consciousness and keeps you moving,
Soul witness, so if you share a bad joke about self or others, it gets registered and if you share good words they also get registered, means, soul doesn't make difference but notes everything on serious not,
Watch your words because they are energy and so are the thoughts, each thought, words or action is being registered,
When we meditate we develop energy and vibrations which work in sync with the universe, as and when we continue our journey into meditate, we need to watch out the words we share and thoughts we process, because they get manifested,
And your thought manifested into beautiful butterfly
