Story of a small hut and sage

Few years back I read one story which I am sharing with you too, the story of a small hut in jungle where lives a sage, once upon a time few hunters went deep into a dark forest and found a hut in which a sage was praying before a wooden cross.

His face shone with happiness. the hunters greeted him and said you are looking very happy, the sage replied, ”I am always happy.”, the hunters said "you are happy living in this lonely hut doing penance? We have everything and are not happy, where did you find happiness? the sage replied "I found it here in this cave. Look through that hole and you will catch a glimpse of my happiness. "and he showed them a small window.

The hunters said, "you have deceived us, for all we can see is some branches of a tree.” the sage said "Take another look. ”all we see are some branches and a little bit of sky. "the sage replied ”that,” said the hermit, ”is the reason for my happiness – just a little bit of heaven.”

The bliss is within, it was never lost, just that with time we have to rediscover it and start enjoying more and more,

We can go to Himalayas yet we cannot be in peace and on the other hand we can be amidst storm and still be at bliss, what we are looking at matters,

Stay blessed and keep sharing your love and care.
